Listed for seven years running on the Forbes list of international billionaires, Escobar made so much money he very literally didn’t know what to do with it all. He was a loving husband, a family man and a hero to the poor people of the Colombian city where his business was based. He was also a criminal mastermind, a murderer, a notorious Colombian drug lord, and the founder of the Medellin Cartel.
