Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners – physicians and other healthcare professionals – with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.

The goals of this program are to improve the diagnosis and management of delirium and to improve the treatment of psychiatric disorders with the use of vitamins and minerals. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1: Accurately diagnose delirium.
2: Prescribe effective psychotropic medications for the control of delirium.
3: Identify possible adverse effects of psychotropic medications in patients with delirium.
4: Cite evidence supporting the use of vitamin and mineral supplements for psychiatric disorders.
5: Recognize unique nutritional needs of different patient populations.
