Biblical Apocrypha and Deuterocanon (English Edition)

The compilation of the commonly known Bible was not without difficulty or controversy. At different times, books have been excluded for reasons of religious dogma, political conflict, or historical uncertainty. This is a collection of some of the most notable texts excluded from some editions of the bible. The particular emphasis is on Old Testament Apocrypha which were present in the Greek Septuagint but rejected by Jerome's Latin translation.
