Purpose: Audio-Digest Foundation CME/CE activities are designed to provide its learners – physicians and other healthcare professionals – with continuing education that will help identify clinical problems in their practice settings, provide content to help to solve those problems, and increase their application of knowledge to practice.

The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Apply diagnostic criteria to identify children with ADHD.
2. Recognize characteristics and traits commonly seen in children with ADHD.
3. Identify comorbidities commonly associated with ADHD.
4. Prescribe medications to treat and manage symptoms of ADHD.
5. Avoid side effects and complications associated with medications used to treat ADHD.
